What was the highlight of Taksu Sanur Hotel

It is a good quality and price balance.

Hotel was in a good location, with an excellent staff who always tried to make our holiday the best. The breakfast was a buffet, but everyday something new and the food in general is really delicious. Few times we had a dinner in hotel’s restaurant it was really nice as well. The spa facilities in a hotel are the best!!

The noise from the street. There is a taxi place just in front of hotel and they keep chatting, also all motorbikes and so on. We took the bigger room and it was in front of the street, next time I will take the room in other building. Also the construction work, we didn’t know about that in the first place so it was kind of annoying. They keep working even on weekend days. There was some time when we chose to go somewhere else because you can’t listen that working sound. Also they are offering beach facilities in other hotel, but it is not worth it to spend money on it. The umbrellas and sunbeds are so old there is not so much joy there :)

Very Good

Nice clean hotel. Cool towels and welcome drink on arrival. We got upgraded to a junior suite, so plenty of room, comfy bed. Great, clean, big pool. Lovely gardens. Decent buffet breakfast. Staff were friendly and informative. Some great local warungs nearby. Easy walk to beach.

Excellent stay in Sanur

Staff were exceptional, pool area was great. Many families and kids were playing in and around the pool area.

Location was a little bit away from the town centre but overcome with a quick bike ride.

Enjoyed my stay, great location with great rooms

Large room with large bed, location in Sanur, proximity to restaurants and a 5 min walk to the beach. Great buffet breakfast.

Airconditioner broke down in our room so had to change rooms. Balcony sliding doors in both rooms need maintenance as very sticky and hard to use. Difficult to get access to use pool chairs as hotel allows people to reserve them by placing their pool towels on the chair but then not being there to use.

Had a great stay at the hotel, would go back again.

The attractive pool was excellent for us as the pool depth was the same throughout which meant my wife could stand up at any time but was deep enough to swim in. Water was warm, clean, and refreshing. Good selection at breakfast, plenty to eat and staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of local places to eat and beach was not too far away.

Pavements in the local area could have been better maintained. Although this comment does not reflect the standard within the hotel.

Best value proposition in Sanur

The best value for money hotel in Sanur . Comfortable, clean, great wi fi and good breakfast. The pool is large enough to swim laps and has a good combination of sun and shade. Rooms were quiet and air conditioning brilliant. Close to restaurants, shops and central enough to walk to the beach or easily get transport. Everything worked as it should. Most accommodation falls short in a couple of areas but Taksu hits the mark on all fronts. We stayed in a junior suite, level 3 but have also stayed rooms previously.

1. Hotel staff should check if there is sufficient toilet rolls daily. 2. There is a cloth surfaced sofa in the room but did not look too clean so we did not sit on it.

Big room.

Big room. Warm welcome when I arrived. I always enjoy my stays at the Taksu.

Wash basin didn’t drain properly but that was easily rectified. Mattress a little soft.

the robes and slippers are a really nice touch - lounging...

the robes and slippers are a really nice touch - lounging around in the room at night is really a treat. the king size bed is always a bonus, and the pillows rock!

After 4 years of being open, the Bali weather is starting to take a toll on the hotel. I saw staff constantly cleaning, but it's gotten a little deeper especially in the grout in the shower - it's not their fault, just the nature of the elements in the country. Time for a DEEP cleaning and paint over the dark spots!

Most enjoyable place I have stayed in Bali so far!

Overall spacious feeling to Hotel. Staff did everything to please. Breakfast very good. Located close to beach, great having Bakery in front of Hotel. Very good option for casual dining. Central to Restaurants in Sanur. All easy walking distance.

Glass wall from bathroom was not good of a night time. I was sharing with my adult son!

An enjoyable stay that we would highly recommend to others.

The breakfast menu was great. Staff always greeted you when you entered left the building. So helpful and friendly. Great little neighbourhood.

We always enjoy staying at Taksu.

The staff are wonderful and always very helpful and friendly. The location of Taksu is in our favourite part of Sanur and close to many restaurants and the beach is also a short walk away. The room is big and if you take a room with a balcony you won't be disappointed.

The bathroom is a bit dark and the rooms are starting to look a bit worn. This would not stop us from staying here again though!
